Hi, I’m Emma, the face behind Salt and Light Creative Co. I help business owners take social media off their plate and build brands that actually feel like them. Whether you’re tired of stressing over what to post or you’re starting from scratch with your branding, I’m here to make the whole process a lot easier (and a lot more fun).

Salt and Light actually started back in 2020 as a small business selling laptop stickers on Etsy. It was #CovidSummer, I was bored and needed a creative outlet. So, what first started as a hobby, turned into a fun side hustle. I kept the business going through my first two years of college until I got my first marketing internship at Liberare, an adaptive bra company. It was through this internship that I fell in love with social media and content creation. Fast forward to 2023 and I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Concentration in Marketing (whoohoo!). Since college, I’ve continued my relationship with Liberare as one of their social media managers, and started to build a small portfolio of clients for myself.

The name “Salt and Light” comes from one of my favorite Bible verses — Matthew 5:13-16: “You are the salt of the earth…You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” It’s a beautiful reminder of our purpose on this earth as God’s children. My goal is to provide salt and light in everything I do, including this business.
