This night was ✨SPARKLING✨
But for real, this was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to! For years I’ve been hoping Taylor would do a tour highlighting her past albums and here we are!
Everyone who got tickets for The Eras Tour had to work so hard to get them, but wheelchair users had to work even harder. Keep reading to learn how I pulled it off, my honest review of Mercedes Benz Stadium, and a few tips to ensure you have the time of your life!
Mercedes Benz Stadium Review
Tickets: I tried buying tickets during the presale, but I got kicked out of the queue. By the time I was let in, all the ADA seats were sold. Luckily I was able to buy tickets from a girl on Swiftie Facebook group. Two tickets were in section 243 and the third ticket was in section 217. None of the tickets were ADA so I had to exchange them.

I called Mercedes Benz Stadium before buying the tickets from the girl on Facebook. I was told to go to Guest Services to exchange my tickets the day of the concert, but to arrive early because it's first come first served. It was honestly really confusing trying to find Guest Services. Nobody working outside seemed to know and it was really crowded because gates were about to open.
After asking around, we were told to enter Gate 1 and the Guest Services desk was inside, to the right. Once at the desk, they asked what section our tickets were for and they found ADA seats closest to that section. We were given 3 tickets for section 222, which was a better view than our original seats!
I'm not sure if all venues honor this so be sure to call before buying tickets just in case.
Seats: I couldn't have asked for a better ADA seating experience. The entire section was open for wheelchairs of all sizes, plus plenty of folding chairs for companions. I could see over the people in front of us and honestly had a perfect view. There were only three others sitting in our section so we had plenty of room.

The security guard working our section was a gem! She had the railing decorated in beads, gave us necklaces, and offered to take photos for us. SO SWEET!
Transportation/Parking: We took the Marta (subway) from our hotel to get to and from the stadium. We stayed at a hotel in Buckhead and luckily there was a Marta station within walking distance. Both stations had elevators and level platforms so wheelchair users can easily enter. However, there weren't many empty spaces for wheelchairs so I had to sit in front of the door, blocking people from getting on/off. There were many other Swifties that stayed at our hotel and we found that the Marta was how most fans got to and from the stadium. I would recommend taking the subway over driving or using Uber because it avoids sitting in traffic, plus you don't have to pay to park.

Leaving the stadium was an adventure. Just imagine 60,000 people leaving a stadium at once--crazy. We exited through the gate we entered (Gate 1), and asked a worker where the Marta Station was. She was SO nice; she guided us from the stadium, to the station, and even rode with us until we got to our stop. She went above and beyond and I wish I could remember her name so I could shout her out.
TIPS:
Familiarize yourself with the city's transportation system and make sure it's accessible.
Arrive early---remember ticket exchange is first come first served! Plus you want plenty of time to get those cute photos!
Study the venue---I wished I'd studied the stadium map more and known which gate to enter. It would've saved time and lessened confusion.
Stay hydrated! It's a 3 HOUR show and I know you don't want to miss anything, but don't avoid drinking water just because you don't want to take a bathroom break.
I really hope this helps if you're disabled and going to the Eras Tour or other concerts! Wear the sparkly dress, put the glitter in your hair, GO ALL OUT!! I hope you have the best time!
